A desert thief! (my farewells)
A desert thief
The Sun has fallen and now the Moons are clear, both shinning so bright. A red giant, Jone, such power, such dominance. A blue lady, Jode, such glory, such beauty.
Shine, they shine, over green, live trees and vast, hot deserts. Look, trevan! Look liter! See there, deep within the sand, almost fully barried... khajiiti legends, guild mentors and masters, slowly following each other to eternal deserts under the giant and the beauty, Jone and Jode.
One after another, generation after generation. Look up, look at their banners, look at their unfaded smiles as they carry the name of „Va Khaj Dar“, to be a desert thief.
Such a royal name, truly it was, to be a part of it, I couldn't have been more proud. As it held many secrets and many powers, more than that a simple eye could see.
Adesertnd I try to shout and I try to stop them, but the truth is what I tell you, to stop that lot, I cannot. There I see, all my mentors and masters of the grand name they carry,
Va Khaj Dar! Va Khaj Dar!
Do not fade. Please, do stay. For I am still unready, I'm simply unfit, to hold the banner for you and, with my generation, to lead. For us, simple students, to follow their steps? Off they go to eternal desert, leaving the banners to us,
Va Khaj Dar! Va Khaj Dar!
I am old now and I know my guild, the guild of heroes I tell you, the guild of honored thieves. Still I wonder, where did they go; why did they follow the steps to the deserts of untold. Was that a farewell, or will they come back? Now I sit, and wait with patience, for my mentors and masters to come back with the unfading smile. I remember now, the way they led, the way they taught. Did I do a good work? For my part next to Karmita?
Have I proved my value? Or have I now lost it all?
Slowly now, I see what must be done. Silly me, my time already passed. Stand up, now, is what I must, and follow their footsteps, into the eternal desert so vast.
Guide me, giant and lady, Jone and Jode.So that I may now say my farewells, or perhaps one day, come back?
To whoever finds this, I hope you are a khajiit. When I entered this guild it gave me nothing but joy; this was once a powerful and mighty guild. It had its ups and downs but it always made me smile. Many came, many left... and I wondered why but I didn't find a better answer than "life happeneds." This guild was the first and the last guild in ESO I was most active in and it inspired me to write all the blogs and posts. This caravan showed me what roleplay is, and I am proud of it. There were hard times... fight... and as in real life, drama. But I can say one thing, I would have gone trough it again... to feel the khajiit within me, always bound with the caravan.
