Life on Masser
The sound of the wind, whistling in the air, brushing the stone to sand. She wakes up, blinking her watering eyes free from dust. Alizarin dust. The roof is ochre, the walls are umber. A sienna statue, carved out of the terracotta rock clads the cave. At it's paws, a single cobalt flame still lingers, after so many ages. She wearily moves, amber eyes fixed on the feline statue. A gust of a sharp breeze hits from behind, and whilst turning to whence it came, the view of the barren land hits close to the wandering heart. The searing sun is setting, behind dunes too far off to see. Her paws become buried in the auburn sand, as she wonders upon the valley of carmine. Shielding her eyes from the dying light, the desert reveals its long forgotten secret; it starts as scattered bricks, sticking up from beneath the blowing whirlwind, a trail, leading forth to a wall of maroon. Crumbling claystone, built by someone, a long time ago. The ruins are rounded, and they twist and turn, it is a labyrinth. Alone and forlorn, eroding, will they answer khajiits touch? Only Masser knows.

Pa'lat, the hot sun ever burning, the crickets deafening noise dominating the savannah. In the courtyard of the Va Khaj Dar manse stands a familiar gathering, swatting at the gathering horseflies as they speak. "So how is Skatmat'Qa doing today? Not coming outside? It's such a lovely day today!" Jo'Shaiq smiles. Bongo starts, "Oh, I think she is-" he gets abrupted by the doors of the manse being flunged open, there standing Skatmat'Qa with Ambercita and Xielito at her sides, rigged up in armour. "Oh there she is!" Bongo casually waving to them. A friendly noise of greetings and bright moons wishes comes from the Heralds of Agea, good mornings from the Va Khaj Dar. Skatmat'Qa does not respond to them, but she stares at them all, their smiling faces, awaiting some good and happy news, though her face telling a different story, a darker one... "We are going now." she simply states in a serious tone, walking off the stairs, towards the walls of the property. Mixed reactions in the group, "Hoorah, she is doing better!", "Oh, we going on an adventure now?", "Well that was fast, guess the medicine does it's thing..." some voices say. But Bongo will not be fooled. "Where are you going?". Skatmat'Qa and her... More

The Journal of Xielito
"This one found her! She finally found her! Karmita has become a caravaneer... Who would've thought? They are called 'Va Khaj Dar'. Heard of them of course, did not think Karmita would be into that business... Gold is gold though. She is smart. Yet not smart enough to send us word of her whereabouts? Sending word that she is indeed alive?! Well she will not be for very long unless this one gets to her soon... This one will seek them out first thing tomorrow."
"So this one thought the name Sugarlips was indeed sounding familiar... As it turns out one of them is a caravaneer of said caravan. She got tips on their trading center laying in Pa'lat, Reapers' March. On her way there now. It's not likely Nikita would have gotten the same tip, she does not deal well with fishy information-brokers. Especially when Boshanti the info-broker in question is in fact Ambercita herself in all her glory, disguising herself with many a new names. Sneaky. Nikita does not deal well with... More

The Journal of Ambercita
"It has been only a day since Karmita was brought back. This night... was filled with woeful screams, nightmares it seems. This one has never seen her sister like this, never... Whatever did they do to her, those fanatics? She looks horrible. She is emaciated, unable to walk, unable to speak... Unable to rest. Earlier this day, this one took her with to the river in Pa'lat, to wash her up. She needed it badly. The sun was up, it was a warm day... And Karmita kept calling her sister 'clanmother'. Why.
Xielito still does not understand. How could she? She was not there. Xielito was not in Cyrodiil with us. Yet it seems things were no good back in Elsweyr either... Fadomai's tits! Curse this war and the elves, sheep-shaggers all of them. None of this would be if it weren't for the army. And what can Ambercita do? What she should have done... Long ago... It hurt too much to see her again after so many years, Karmita, not recognizing her litter sister. Family.
Perhaps... Xielito will have better luck."

Scatcat, the bent cat
by Ra'Anasazi'Jo of the lunar clergy
In khajiiti pantheon we are well familiar with the deity Rajhin, the trickster god and master thief. How he supposedly spirited away the whole city of Falinesti, and how he had possession of the ancient ring of khajiiti to make him invisible. And of course his seven shades. Many of us revere this purring liar highly, yet what happens when we in actuality become affected by his or, these types of crimes?
In recent years, a shadow has crept allover Elsweyr. It started just about in the middle of the deepest jungle, Tenmar forest, the very heart of Elsweyr. As it often is with thievery, many of khajiit may look away for a time, if the deed was done with quite some talent. Or if the stolen goods were merely of provisional sort. We khajiit are after all not very possessive of things. But at one point one must set the paw down. Then most often the five-fingered cub will put its hands back into its own pockets. Yet not this time. As soon as the orderly khajiit prepared, and leveled their guard, so did the crimes. Not just in numbers, but in nature as well. This villain was declared a criminal and a bounty set.
It did not take long before the first... More

Burying The Past
The candles flickering cast moving shadows across the sandstone floor, climbing to the walls. A small group of people were heading to the exit, as the heavy door opened the light from the outside world shone upon the mummy lying at the altar. Skatmat'Qa now sat alone, at her knees to honour the deceased. Her eyes were shut, but they opened as soon as a male voice with a clean accent at the entrance called; "They are all gone now." Skatmat'Qa's eyes glittered bright yellow in the darkness of her own shadow. She arised slowly, and followed the voice outside in the light.
"So, shall we?" the altmer in robes said with an annoyingly positive tone. The weather was annoyingly positive aswell. Skatmat'Qa but nodded, after having a one last look at her beloved. As the stone door fell shut, the light on the mummy's face turned to darkness, as did the rest of the tomb. With a sigh she turned away and let the mage do his thing. Her anger grew as she heard his ridicilous chanting. With a minor poof of blue, the ward was set in place. "And there it is, sealed!" the altmer applauded himself.
The khajiiti soldier replied, now staring immensely at him with slit pupils; "No one, not a soul on Nirn will be... More

As she wandered aimlessly throughout the southern Valenwood, just before the anxiety took hold of her again, a piece of parchment came riding on a cool breeze, and hit her in the face. Uttering a squealing sound, the wind that brought the parchment was suprisingly strong, and the khajiit had to turn around to get it off her face. She swiftly jumped down behind the large boulder she'd been standing on, making herself as small as she could, and read, while straightening out her whiskers;
"Even greater than the Baandari Traders, unto us the Va Khaj Dar are coming to trade in exquisite wares from the far off lands of not only Elsweyr, but from the whole of Tamriel! Nirn! Come and indulge yourself! Site: Redfur Trading Post. ETA: This Morndas. This Morndas. This Morndas we hope. ETD: Fredas. Fredas. TBA."
As the khajiit read it through the first time, the violent air subseded. This she did not notice of course, she kept reading the advertisement several times over again, before she raised her daft gaze into the canopies. "Khajiits? This one is in Elsweyr?" she thought to herself, blinking many times. And thus she stumbled away seeking this "Redfur". It so happened that upon the road, a khajiit named Kharjo was walking.
(Uhm yeah. Halp?)

(This one had a most silly dream last night, she was clever and wrote it down, please enjoy! And please, laugh! This short story tells of Skatmat'Qa and Luna'Dra. (So sorry for taking advantage of your character, Luna! It so happened to be her!))
On Khenarthi's Roost, at Luna'Dra's home in Mistral, Luna'Dra the master healer wakes up from birdsong, and as she yawns and gets up from her bed, her eyes widen as she all of a sudden sees Skatmat'Qa the mangy cat, lying on her floor, without any pants! Luna'Dra runs to the khajiit and tries to waken her up. Skatmat'Qa awakens in an instant, and in a whim she sits up and exclaims: "Khajiit is spotless!", to which Luna'Dra replies, "Jone and Jode, why is Skat'Qa here sleeping on this ones floorplanks? Kitten could've woken khajiit up! And where are kitten's pants?". Skatmat'Qa blinks several times in reflection, and then she tells of yesterday's misfortunate adventure:
"Uh, err... This one was... Outside in the night, sneaking about, completely sober! Well, she had a few smokes of skoo- drinks! Ale! No skooma! But uh... And uh, she stumbled around in the crowd in agony for trying to find somewhere private where she could relieve herself, ehum. But... More
